The hosted VoIP, UC, and telecom provider offers UC sales certification training, educational webinars, trainig guides, regional networking events, and a tiered commission plan.
USA Datanet, a VoIP, UC, and telecommunications company in Syracuse, N.Y. that is part of WVT Communications, has created a channel partner program for its master agents, agents, and referral partners. Benefits include a UC sales certification training program from Alteva (a fellow WVT subsidiary and unified communications solution provider), monthly educational webinars, training guides, marketing materials, and regional networking events.
USA Datanet‘s technology platform is geared exclusively to small businesses with 35 or fewer users. The company’s cloud-based UC solution, available nationally, consists of hosted VoIP, video conferencing, data backup through Mozy, and Microsoft Communication Services, including Exchange, Office Communications Server (OCS), and SharePoint.
Additional benefits of USA Datanet’s Channel Partner program include a commission plan with monthly residuals targeting four different partner levels:
- UC Certified Partners have completed the Alteva UC Sales Certification training program and receive the highest commission percentage available from USA Datanet.
- Premier Partners receive a percentage commission by retaining a specified quarterly quota, determined by the USA Datanet Channel Manager.
- Preferred Partners receive commission with no quarterly quotas.
- Referral Partners receive commission for referring business that results in a sale.
Each partner is assigned a dedicated USA Datanet UC Sales Certified channel manager to assist through the entire end-user process, from sales through implementation and training. A channel manager is provided for all partner levels.
UC Certification and additional resources are also offered, including the three-tiered UC Sales Certification program by Alteva that provides a technical overview of UC, education programming on selling and positioning UC, and impact/reinforcement training led by the Sandler Institute, a sales and sales management training company. Partners have access to quarterly educational webinars as well, to provide deep-dive product knowledge, sales positioning, product messaging, and Q&A’s on relevant industry topics.
Cocktail networking events for USA Datanet and its channel partners are also offered for sharing new developments and sales tools. Partners will have the opportunity for one-on-one face time meetings with USA Datanet’s sales and marketing team to discuss and/or brainstorm new ideas.
To maintain its new channel strategy and anticipated program growth, USA Datanet has designated two regional sales managers, David DeNapoli and Bob Sederstand, to oversee all of its channel managers.
