Data loss prevention (DLP) solution provider Palisade Systems Inc. has launched its new Palisade Partner Program, offering higher margins and services with sales incentives, expanded sales and technical training, deal registration, and co-marketing programs. Because the program is based on the deployment of the company’s flagship PacketSure DLP solution as a virtual machine or image, the Des Moines, Iowa-based company is targeting VM-certified partners, preferably with security expertise, that serve the SMB market.
Other features of the program include tiered partner levels, online and on-site sales engineer and technical training, a dedicated sales associate, not-for-resale evaluation products, and a risk assessment program for risk-free evaluation on a customer’s site. These enhancements are intended to help grow the company’s DLP business with PacketSure while expanding its channel presence.
Palisade offers a variety of deployment choices, but a new SaaS option for MSPs “offers a cost per user of base 60 percent less than alternative solutions,” according to Mike Lough, Palisade’s vice president of marketing. This enables partners to deliver DLP while also generating recurring revenue.
Education, healthcare, financial, and government organizations have used PacketSure to secure sensitive and proprietary intellectual property from leaving data networks, define and enforce access to internal network resources, and enforce compliance with federal privacy and industry security regulations.
