Disaster recovery, monitoring, and managed services software developer Continuity Software has announced general availability of RecoverGuard, Version 5.4.
The latest iteration of the company’s disaster recovery software for MSPs features “key enhancements intended to target the specific needs of SMBs,” states the company in press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB. These include disaster recovery capacity management and multiple scan schedule support features. The latest version also extends its IBM support and adds nearly 500 new risk signatures.
“For the first time, companies can ensure DR, HA, and service level agreement (SLA) compliance across their geographically distributed primary production, remote DR, and private cloud computing environments,” states the press release.
Features of RecoverGuard v5.4 include:
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Capacity Management — Ensures recovery site computing and storage capacity meets business goals and offers auto-notification provided when recovery site capacity misaligns with requirements.
- Multiple Scan Schedule Support — Enables users to add and support multiple verification schedules across an unlimited number of countries, continents, and time zones.
IBM Platform Support †– Supports DS 6, 8, and XIV as well as all native replication protocols (i.e., Global Mirror, Metro Mirror, FlashCopy, Global Copy, snapshots, and remote mirroring).
- Over 4,900 Risk Signatures — Nearly 500 new risk signatures have been added as a result
of direct feedback from customers, according to Continuity Software. †
RecoverGuard v5.4 is now generally available at a starting price of $2,000 per server/per year.
