To bridge the gap between IT and facilities that often prevents data center optimization, Emerson Network Power, a business unit of Emerson based in Columbus, Ohio, has expanded its Innovation Partnership Program. The change combines solutions from Emerson’s Avocent and Liebert brands in the United States into one program.
The program features a new deal registration system and pricing structure as well as wider product eligibility, more demand-generation options, and an online portal. The partner portal provides program and training information and a suite of configuration tools. Partners are also supported by a local network of data center specialists.
Existing Liebert and Avocent partners have been automatically entered into the program and now have access to additional technologies that work together to increase performance and reduce costs in the data center. Specifically, the program encompasses:
- Avocent technology that manages assets within customers’ distributed data center environments
- Liebert UPS, power management, and cooling technologies
- Avocent and Liebert DCIM solutions for tracking and control of IT equipment, monitoring of physical infrastructure and asset identification, and planning support
