The warranty extension applies to new purchases of the popular 42- and 47-inch TH-47LF20U display models.
Panasonic Solutions Company is now providing a limited-time, five-year standard limited warranty on its TH-42LF20U (42-inch) and TH-47LF20U (47-inch) professional LCDs. Available through Sept. 30, 2011, this limited time offer extends the standard warranty on Panasonic’s digital signage displays by three years at no additional cost.
The extended warranty is automatic and requires no additional paperwork, according to Panasonic. “Current owners of a LF20 Series LCD display should contact their Panasonic sales representative to confirm their eligibility,” the company states in a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.
Each of the LF20 series LCD models offers a 1920 x 1080-pixel In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, a brightness of 700 cd/m2, a thin 18-mm bezel, and a fan-less design.
“With our new, limited 5-year warranty,” says Rick Albert, vice president of sales, professional display solutions, for Panasonic, “we can now also provide our customers with an industry leading guarantee on those displays.”
