Network security and storage appliance maker Huawei Symantec has launched three new products aimed at SMBs. The solutions were designed to deliver “storage for SMBs, a high-performance unified storage platform, and a multi-service gateway for security and routing,” according to the company.
The three products announced this week are:
- Oceanspace S2600–A storage solution for SMBs with consolidated set of storage features
- Oceanspace N8300–A unified storage platform designed for mid-range and high-end storage applications that supports high-performance computing, databases, Web sites, file services, streaming media, video surveillance, and file backup
- Secospace USG2000 BSR/HSR–A multi-service gateway solution that integrates security, routing and switching, wireless access, and voice service functions

In a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB, Huawei Symantec says the new products “kick off an effort to unveil more competitive products and solutions to the North American market.”
