DataCore Software and Fujitsu Technology Solutions Validate Integration of Products
Pre-tested, qualified solutions combine Fujitsu ETERNUS and PRIMERGY with DataCore SANsymphony for complete storage pool architectures.
ICT-based business solutions provider Fujitsu Technology Solutions has validated the integration of its data center storage and server systems with DataCore storage virtualization software. The integration was made seamless in order to “minimize the risks for enterprises switching to virtualized and cloud storage architectures,” according to DataCore Software.
Initially available in Europe, the pre-tested and qualified solutions combining Fujitsu ETERNUS and PRIMERGY with DataCore SANsymphony are available immediately via local distributors.
Jens-Peter Seick, senior vice president of Fujitsu’s product division, says combining his company’s storage solutions with DataCore software enables customers to consolidate storage in various scenarios. “We deliver complete storage pool architectures customized to our customers’ ever-changing needs via a single source,” he says.
With the Fujitsu and DataCore combination, customers can provision storage within their cloud infrastructures in real-time. DataCore makes it possible to move data and virtual machines as needed, where needed in a true cloud storage architecture.
Christian Hagen, DataCore Software vice president of EMEA, says the combined solutions enable fast and reliable storage infrastructures. “By qualifying SANsymphony for Fujitsu ETERNUS and PRIMERGY systems,” he says, “DataCore and Fujitsu assure a pre-tested highly-available platform for dynamic storage available on demand and optimized for cloud storage architectures.”
