NASBA, the association of channel resellers, and AOpen, a small-form-factor computer system manufacturer and digital signage solution provider, have entered into a strategic alliance on NASBA’s new GreenIT Resource Center.
Initially supported by AOpen America and Intel Corporation, the GreenIT Resource Center assists resellers and system builders wanting to go green with component and systems information.
“NASBA is excited to be partnering with AOpen to bring to the channel a valuable new resource for resellers of many types and sizes,” says Frank Raimondi, Executive Director of NASBA. “The resources and information provided are intended to help people start or continue providing their customers the best and most energy efficient systems possible.”
NASBA will also be advocating on behalf of its members and the channel as a whole in the development of green and eco-friendly initiatives such as EPEAT and Energy Star, ensuring that they are fully represented. The association’s new resource center will feature a complete listing of vendor resources as well as government and non-government organization (NGO) resource links.
AOpen has been a longtime supporter of green IT. For a complete listing of all green products, please visit AOpen Environment. In the months to come, AOpen will be adding more Energy Star-qualified and green products to the list.
