iland Joins the VMware Partner Ranks in Las Vegas
Cloud computing infrastructure provider hosts booth at third annual VMware Partner Exchange at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center this week.
Taking place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center this week is the VMware Partner Exchange vCloud Pavilion. Among the companies taking part will be VMware Service Provider Program partner iland.
VMware Partner Exchange 2010 is quickly becoming a notable event for virtualization partners, offering more than 150 sessions and an extensive exhibitor pavilion to demonstrate virtualization business solutions and best practices.
iland is a cloud computing infrastructure provider with high-availability datacenters specifically designed for cloud computing in Boston, Washington D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, Dallas, and London.
Visitors to the iland pavilion (Booth V9) will learn about iland’s flexible approach to augmenting a company’s cloud strategy through discussions with technical cloud experts, live diagramming of potential partner infrastructures, and discussions explaining the difference between public and private clouds in the marketplace.
iland will present its so-called “Successful Partner Roadmap” on Tuesday,Feb. 9 at 5:10 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 3:40 p.m. withinthe VMware vCloud Pavilion at VMware Partner Exchange 2010.
iland will also present its partner program, which teaches resellers how to guide their customers to the cloud solution that best suits their IT strategy, budget, and goals.
According to iland, its program offers three solutions for partners to consider:
- Continuity Cloud–Enables replication of physical and virtual servers to any of iland’s six datacenters in the U.S. and U.K. It also reserves resources in the event of a disaster.
- Workforce Cloud–Enables partners to host desktops and servers in a private cloud environment.
- Hybrid Cloud–Provides a customized solution that combines the benefits of cloud architecture while integrating traditional physical environments.
Vice president of business development Dante Orsini says his company is participating in the Partner Exchange in order to provide VMware partners with “the opportunity to learn more about iland’s unique approach to cloud infrastructure.”
“Attendees will leave our booth understanding the various ways in which they can leverage a partner relationship with iland,” Orsini says, “whether they are a managed service provider, consultant, systems integrator, or reseller.”
