Smart Source Inc. says solution providers can access the TecDirect database for free and route work orders to field-service technicians at no cost.

The TecDirect site currently includes 8,000 technical professionals and is available to solution providers, OEMs, system builders, hardware VARS, computer service companies, and independent IT firms. Solutions providers can access professionals with specific skill sets including PC repair, printer repair, equipment installation, troubleshooting, networking, wireless, cabling, and POS system support.
Iovinelli also points out that TecDirect sports the ability to recruit outside of its network to find technical resources that are not currently part of its site.
