Software Vendor Scouts for Partners in the Americas
Electronic document management software provider steps up effort to succeed “over here as it has done in the UK.”
V1 Document Management is looking to extend its reseller channel. The electronic document management software provider is seeking partnerships with account, ERP, and CRM software authors and resellers. VARs in the market for such a partnership may want to take heed.
V1 Document‘s solutions enable the electronic creation, delivery, authorization, management, storage, and retrieval of business documents.†
Sold either as a standalone product or integrated into an organization’s existing accounting, ERP, and/or CRM systems, the seven-module portfolio from V1–sister company to UK-based Version One–also includes an optical character recognition solution for the automatic capture and verification of data from inbound documents.
V1 says its products are used by thousands of organizations worldwide. In a recent press release, the company states that V1’s products “have the breadth of functionality and integration capabilities to fill the gap in the American market for integrated, end-to-end paperless office solutions from a single software author.”
V1 Document Management partner manager Paul Crompton says his company is looking to expand its American partnership because the company is “looking to grow.” He says the company is looking see its product portfolio have “the same level of success over here as it has done in the UK.”
“With our extensive EDM [electronic document management] experience … and understanding of the re-seller channel,” Compton says, “we’re confident that our solutions will soon be making a real impact on the American market.”
V1 Document Management has tailored a partner program to assist with lead generation and training, the company reports. “Early adopters of the products will be rewarded with higher returns and additional benefits,” the company’s press release states.
For Crompton’s part, he says the company sees a pressing need to invest in resellers. “The ultimate goal is for them to become certified to sell the solutions direct with little or no V1 Document Management involvement,” he says.
To help meet this goal, Crompton says the company is making sure its reseller partners are “fully supported at every stage,” and plans to “train them to take an increasing role in each sale.”
“From a user perspective, our solutions are functionally-rich, user-friendly, and deliver a number of tangible benefits,” Crompton says. Among those benefits, he includes reduced paper consumptions and freed-up document storage space.
V1 says software authors and resellers interested in partnering should visit the company’s respective Web page.
