SMC Networks Revamps Elite Partner Program
New Web site and margin-boosting enhancements debut.
SMC Networks Inc., based in Irvine, Calif., has launched a new partner program Web site and revamped its Elite Partner Program with the goal of making it easier and more profitable for VARs to sell its wired and wireless networking solutions.
Program enhancements include a bid-protection program; boosting reseller margins by 10 percent; and increasing discounts to government, education, and nonprofit organizations to 10 percent. SMC has also added the SMC Academy training group, which “delivers seminars and educational resources to our resellers to make it easier for [them] to sell our solutions and enjoy higher margins,” says Keith Alexis, vice president of sales at SMC Networks.
