The new models save small businesses both energy and money.
Tripp Lite, a manufacturer of power protection equipment based in Chicago, says its Internet Office UPS line for small businesses and home offices has an its increased efficiency rating of 99 percent, saving both energy and money over legacy designs. Compared with legacy UPS systems, says the company, Internet Office models can save a user up to $125 in energy costs over a five-year span, which is more than the cost of the UPS itself.
“The Internet Office UPS line has always been our lowest cost UPS series, providing reliable backup power for a range of business and home applications,” says David Slotten, Tripp Lite director of product management. “Now featuring unparalleled operating efficiency, an upgrade to the new and improved Internet Office series can quickly pay for itself.”
