Dark web monitoring vendor ID Agent has introduced a sales assistance program for its MSP partners.
Called Goal Assist, the new program provides sales team training services, supplies expert speakers for demand generation events, offers direct help at sales meetings with potential clients, and more.
“While we continue to deliver the most validated dark web data in the market today, we really saw an opportunity to help accelerate our partners’ revenue growth directly,” said ID Agent CEO Kevin Lancaster in prepared remarks. “By offering a deeper collaboration and more direct reinforcement to our partners through Goal Assist, we’re fulfilling our mission to make sure businesses of every size have access to enterprise-grade cybersecurity, and helping our partners grow the bottom line.”
Goal Assist isn’t ID Agent’s first partner service. Last year, the company introduced a similar offering named Rapid ID Response. Provided at no extra charge, that program helps MSPs draft incident response plans.
ID Agent’s flagship solution scours the cybercrime underworld for compromised credentials, and alerts MSPs when it finds user names or passwords affiliated with one of their customers. Partners of the Bowie, Md.-based vendor have found displaying stolen credentials during sales pitches to be a powerful tool for winning business from net new clients as well.
Sold through MSPs only since the spring of 2017, ID Agent had over 1,000 partners as of last October, when it announced a new integration with Datto Inc.’s Autotask PSA solution.
In September, the company unveiled a joint go-to-market deal with RapidFire Tools, which officially became part of Kaseya Ltd. that same month. The alliance allows users of RapidFire Tools’ Network Detective security assessment solution to include a limited sample of dark web findings from ID Agent in their vulnerability reports.
