IT solution provider community The ASCII Group Inc. has named Datto Inc.’s SIRIS business continuity solution as the best new product of the ASCII Chicago Success Summit 2011. Summit attendees voted on this award at the conference, and the results were announced at the conclusion of the event.
SIRIS is a backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solution that was specifically designed for MSPs and VARs. SIRIS simplifies and streamlines the backup process by taking the image chain out of the backup equation, according to Datto. Data is taken directly from the server and converted into .vmdk files. SIRIS offers instant on- and off-site virtualization, backup verification, and what the company calls “true business continuity.”
