SMBs managing a fleet of vehicles have gained a new solution from integrated wireless systems innovator Qualcomm Inc. this week. The company announced the commercial availability of its Mobile Computing Platform 50 (MCP50), a fleet management solution that delivers Qualcomm’s software applications.
Accessible for fleets of all sizes, the MCP50 fleet management solution enables SMBs to meet safety and regulatory compliance requirements in managing business operations. Along with MCP50, Qualcomm has also launched flexible monthly pricing plans that deliver key applications to address specific fleet operational goals.

MCP50 is available for $799 SRP through local dealers and resellers that are part of the Pana-Pacific distribution network or directly from Qualcomm Enterprise Services.
Qualcomm Enterprise Services also offers six different monthly service pricing plans starting at $19.95 per month. †New pricing plans are available for the MCP50, MCP110 and MCP200.
Effective April 30, 2012, a new Qualcomm policy will enable SMBs and channel pros to order the MCP50 directly from the new and significantly enhanced Qualcomm Customer Portal. Fleets will be able to take advantage of the powerful toolset, increased system performance and reliability, and expanded line-up of self-service options delivered by the Customer Portal.
