Vorex, a provider of cloud-based comprehensive professional services automation (PSA) software for the SMB market, has named Stuart Selbst as its new Chief Operations Officer.
A veteran in the IT industry with more than 25 years of experience, and expertise in the professional services automation and managed service provider arenas, Selbst will manage marketing and sales operations, oversee product development, enhance client relationships, and develop a channel partner program.
As one of his first senior responsibilities in new product development, Selbst will oversee the development of Vorex’s new MSP module and ensure it meets the needs of service provider businesses.
MSP’s provide delivery of IT support services to businesses, residences, or other service providers. The new MSP module will be designed to also work with other underserved service industries that depend on a help desk and dispatching to run their operation.
“Due to repetitive demands from businesses inquiring about a managed service provider module, Vorex has made a strategic decision to enter this market,” says Vorex co-founder and CEO Mike Salem. “Stuart Selbst was the obvious candidate for this sensitive position within the company. As a successful business owner, national speaker and a recognized MSP authority, we believe Stuart will be instrumental in the further development of our successful line of PSA solutions, and guide Vorex through this upcoming phase as we enter the MSP market. He knows what service providers want to see in an automation tool, understands their pain points and possesses the insider knowledge of what it takes to make them efficient and profitable.”
Vorex is scheduled to launch its new MSP module this fall. Selbst and the company will be previewing the module, as well as exhibiting its other PSA solutions at the Cloud Partners 2014 Conference in New Orleans on September 7-10 .
