Phoenix was the host city to the latest IT SMB Success Summits 2014 tour, held September 17 and 18. The ASCII Group’s event is designed to help attendees discover new ways to build and retain recurring revenue by leveraging key research on SMB IT purchases and the latest marketing techniques.
“ASCII leads the way with our Success Summits by trying to stretch the ‘envelope’ with our face-to-face meetings,” says Alan Weinberger, CEO and founder, The ASCII Group. “By hosting in Phoenix, I was able to meet with many solution providers from smaller cities, such as members from Yuma, Eagar, and other towns in Arizona, and hear that they have similar concerns as our members from major cities. Our members appreciate us going to new locations and being closer to them, which is a good feeling to share.”†
The sessions covered topics such as security; business continuity; maximizing profitability and driving revenue; delivering premium security, compliance, and email hosting; and the self-driving business. Attendees could also browse the solutions pavilion.
In addition, there was a session on “Understanding Key Triggers to Client Intimacy and Retaining Revenue—Strategies from Five of the World’s Most Successful MSPs,” led by Gordon Tan, managing director of Client Heartbeat.
The summit wrapped up with vendor awards followed by an ASCII members meeting.
