Network management vendor Auvik Networks has announced a collaboration pact with Cisco aimed at giving MSPs greater insight into the performance and health of Cisco-based devices.
The integration is designed to bring†Auvik†partners greater efficiency by providing warranty and firmware information about Cisco network equipment directly within the Auvik interface.
“Our MSP partners will no longer need to manually look up the warranty status of a Cisco device or its latest firmware version,” said Auvik Chief Product Officer Alex Hoff in a press statement. “This information can be critical when making decisions about how to evolve and optimize a client’s network to support their business, and we’re making it much easier for MSPs to access this data.”
In a 2018 report, Auvik highlighted Cisco as the most commonly deployed vendor on today’s MSP-managed networks. By combining Cisco’s network equipment with its own network insight, Auvik seeks to give MSPs confidence that they have the information they need to effectively manage networks and keep clients connected.
Increasingly, Auvik notes, critical business applications and data are moving to the cloud, making networks the gateway to everything businesses need to function. The reliability of a client’s network can significantly impact their productivity and their ability to generate revenue. By taking full responsibility for keeping networks running, MSPs have the opportunity to differentiate their service offering and add a new stream of revenue.
Cisco and Auvik are hosting a webinar on their alliance on April 23, as well as several North American roadshow events starting in May.
Current Auvik partners can refer to the†Auvik Knowledge Base†for details on using the Cisco integration. MSPs who aren’t yet Auvik partners can visit the Auvik website to†request more information.
Auvik recently announced integrations with†BrightGauge, IT Glue, Passportal, and Warranty Master.
