Schnizzfest 2018, a TruMethods members-only event, starts today in Philadelphia, opening to a full ballroom of over 250 IT solution provider attendees and a morning of live music.
In its ninth year, Schnizzfest is a two-day gathering of MSPs from around the world that focuses on the process of improving their business without the usual conference distractions. It is the brainchild of MSP training and business coaching company TruMethods, based in Moorestown, N.J.
TruMethods owner Gary Pica laid out a journey for the attendees during the morning welcome, stressing that as they evolve from break-fix to a managed services model they need to keep pace with the changing needs of their SMB customers. He told attendees that rather than focusing on selling to customers they must show that they understand their business and can be an integral part of that by managing their technology.
This year’s Schnizzfest features keynote speaker Mike Rayburn, a Hall of Fame international keynote speaker, author, comedian, and world-class guitarist, who is presenting “The ‘What If…?’ Experience.”
Topics presented during the event include sales, business success principles, and service delivery, plus attendees will have the opportunity for member-to-member networking.
Schnizzfest continues through Saturday.
