MSPs, VARs, CSPs, and other technology businesses received a day of real-world sales and marketing techniques aimed at helping them generate more leads, sales, and profit at Marketopia’s 4U2Grow Roadshow Series, held at Topgolf in Charlotte, N.C., this week.
Marketopia, a marketing and lead-generation company based in Clearwater, Fla., is hosting 10 4U2Grow Roadshows in 2018, including four being held in conjunction with the ChannelPro SMB Forums.
The goal is to reach out to resellers and managed service providers in midtier cities, says Terry Hedden, CEO of Marketopia. “We’ve noticed there are a lot of resellers and vendors that can’t make it to the big events. What we’ve done is go to some of the midmarket cities and capture some of those resellers that don’t go to those big events and share with them the insights we have about growing your business.”
This one-day boot camp serves up training sessions and discussion panels by some of the leading minds in the industry. Attendees learn actionable strategies for their business, as well as have the opportunity to network with peers and key vendors.
Sessions during the day focused on generating more leads, developing a marketing plan, building sales, and growing profits. The last session of the day delivered the top 10 steps attendees can start doing right now to make more profit.
The day ended with golf and a networking mixer.
Next up on the 4U2Grow Roadshow is the Baltimore-D.C. metro area on May 7, which is being held in conjunction with the ChannelPro SMB Forum on May 8, followed by a stop in Kansas City on May 22.
