TELoIP Inc., the creator of powerful, software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) solutions for the most challenging, business-critical requirements, announced that Roger Davis has been named CEO. Davis brings a successful track record in the telecom and technology industries to lead TELoIP with strategic focus on customer excellence as SD-WAN enters the adoption phase.
Davis has a wealth of business experience derived from a long and varied career serving as an investor, advisor and Board member of start-up companies. Davis met TELoIP while serving as mentor for MaRS Discovery District clients and became a major investor and Board member. Previously, Davis was a senior executive with AT&T Corporation serving as Vice President and Controller of the Corporation; Vice President & CFO of the Networks Services Group, the company’s largest operating division; and Vice President & CFO of the International Group.
Offering managed SD-WAN solutions through a network of channel partners, TELoIP provides high-performance networking as a service for medium and small business customers throughout North America. With a deep patent portfolio and a carrier-class SDN infrastructure, TELoIP creates Virtual Intelligent Network Overlays that boost performance for mission-critical voice and data applications in the cloud. “Our technology elevates user quality-of-experience and our go-to-market model simplifies SD-WAN adoption,” explains Davis. With a clearly stated goal to lead the SD-WAN industry in overall customer satisfaction and success, Davis has named Ed Shepherdson as Chief Success Officer for TELoIP. Shepherdson brings 25 years of in-depth experience in global leadership and business execution building and delivering enterprise and SaaS software solutions.
