To help partners fulfill requirements for the General Data Protection Regulation†(data protection for individuals in the European Union) and shared security responsibility when offering cloud-based services,†Armor Defense Inc., with offices in Richardson, Texas, and Berkshire, England, is launching a U.K.-focused partner program.
The company offers the†Armor Anywhere†solution to deliver managed protection, detection, and response†24/7/365 for cloud platforms, including AWS†and Azure,†as well as private and hybrid clouds and on-premises infrastructure. Armor’s solutions will enable partners to address the GDPR by supporting confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of processing systems and services, according to Armor.

GDPR has been called the most significant change in data privacy regulation in two decades. It was designed to streamline laws across Europe, to protect citizens’ data, and oversee organizations. Heavy fines will be imposed for non-compliance. Enforcement†begins May 25, 2018.
