At Navigate 2016, Continuum‘s annual user conference kicking off today in Boston at the Seaport World Trade Center, the company released the Continuum Reporting API, allowing open access to agent asset data by third-party vendors and Continuum’s MSP partners. The three-day event is bringing together thought leadership, inspiration, and best practices—all focused on the growth of MSPs and the success of the IT channel.
Today opens with a keynote by Continuum CEO Michael George, followed by the company’s product roadmap, presented by Brian Herr, vice president of products. Also this evening, Continuum will present partner awards followed by a welcome reception and the opening of the partner showcase.
Continuum’s SaaS platform enables MSPs to back up, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain clients’ IT infrastructure from a single pane of glass, backed by a network operations center (NOC) and help desk. With the new Reporting API, other vendors can now integrate with Continuum, and the company’s partners can make authenticated requests for raw reporting data to build custom reports in-house or through a third-party reporting vendor. The Reporting API provides access to more than 200 unique data fields, ranging from basic machine information to patching, anti-virus, and backup data. Integration is possible with any third-party vendor that can leverage agent asset information, according to the company.
Leveraging the new Reporting API, Continuum now integrates with IT Glue, a best practices-driven IT documentation platform; and BrightGauge, providing consolidation of IT vendor reports in one place and allowing MSPs to build in-house custom reports, charts, and dashboards to increase technicians’ efficiency. MSPs now can create custom reports and dashboards that integrate reporting from other tools as well, such as QuickBooks, DropBox, and all the major PSA tools.
Continuum, which is celebrating the five-year anniversary of the company, is expecting nearly 700 attendees at the sold-out Navigate 2016. The event also features nearly 40 sponsors and exhibitors, more than 70 speakers across 36 breakout sessions, and four keynote addresses, including legendary NBA basketball player Bill Walton; Mike Buratowski, senior vice president, cybersecurity services, Fidelis Cybersecurity; and Paul Chisholm, former CEO of mindSHIFT.
