Training and education meets social media and team collaboration tools with the new MobilePaks from VIA.
The cloud solution is designed to meet the needs of SMBs (and their IT solutions providers) when it comes to creating, aggregating, pushing, and tracking content for training, education, and resource-providing purposes.
“MobilePaks is the latest great way for companies to keep their customers, partners and employees up-to-date,” explains VIA MobilePaks CEO Chanin Ballance. “The key to improving engagement and retention is making short bits of highly relevant knowledge available when it’s needed so that it doesn’t feel like learning.”
Mobilepaks is designed to be device agnostic, working on any smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. It is available in three monthly plan options and varies based on number of users. Plans are structured around small, medium, and enterprise level businesses.
Features of VIA’s MobilePaks infrastructure include:
- PakViewer—Enables users to view content-rich experiences on any device when they need it, including assigned content, activity by their peers, and search content.
- PakBuilder—Enables users of any skill set to quickly create rich-content packages of knowledge, including pages with static content, media files, images, interactive collapsing and expanding menus, questions and other widgets.
- PakManager—Enables users to assign knowledge Paks or programs to other users and groups, as well as sequence and schedule their release in advance. The tool tracks key performance indicators of engagement, completion, and comprehension supported by a customer dashboard and analytics.
In the coming months, MobilePaks says it will continue to publish new features and best practices information, conduct webinars and seminars, and steward industry efforts to champion the benefits of mobile learning engagement.
