Big-box retailer Best Buy has added three new partners to its Geek Squad Partner Program. The Partner Program works with third-party VARs to provide services to their own customers. The newest partners Black Box Resale Services, Broadvoice, and wiresurfer. †
The services provided by these new partners include Geek Squad Office Support, which provides Geek Squad assistance via phone, online chat, remote (as well as optional on-site support) as well as PC, mobile, networking, and infrastructure services. Service plans are designed to help customers with diagnostics and repair, client and server administration, and network integration, including network, firewall, VPN, and server support as well as data backup and transfers.
“The Geek Squad Partner Program enables us to complement our unique business model by providing extra value to our small business customers that otherwise wouldn’t have the advantage of integration, installation and IT support services,” says wiresurfer cofounder Jeff Kaufman. “Having Geek Squad join us gives our customers another layer of trust and assurance in wiresurfer.”
“Broadvoice’s relationship with our customer is the most important element to our continued growth,” says Broadvoice CEO Ari Ramezani. “Our partnership with Geek Squad allows us to elevate the level of customer care we provide our customers. We’re happy to have our brand associated with Geek Squad.”
“By offering Geek Squad Office Support Black Box adds to its comprehensive suite of communications solutions and enhances our offerings to our SMB customers,” adds Becky Sorenson, Black Box Resale Services general manager. “For over 35 years, our focus has been to provide high-quality solutions to our customers. We are excited to team up with the Geek Squad division of Best Buy†and continue our tradition†as a trusted source of communications solutions.”
