N-able Spotlights Next-Gen Technology and Business Enablers at 2012 Global Partner Summit

The managed services platform provider combines new technology with “freemium” investments in its aim to help partners increase growth.

N-able Technologies welcomed hundreds of managed service provider (MSP) partners to its 2012 Global Partner Summit, taking place Oct. 24 – 26 in Montreal.

Throughout the two and a half day, partner-focused, and in many cases, partner-led event, N-able will announce and preview several new offerings and enablement resources. Included in the mix will be the launch and immediate availability of Report Manager 4.0, the remote monitoring and management (RMM) business reporting solution that now integrates with Autotask and ConnectWise for ticket reporting. N-able will also provide a sneak preview of its next-generation RMM platform, N-central 9.1, and 2013 product roadmap, including a new mobile device management (MDM) solution.

Highlights of the summit agenda include panels on “Benchmarking for Profitability” and “Growing Your Business,” both led by managed services expert Gary Pica, founder of TruMethods, and “Managed Services Around the World,” moderated by Scott Campbell, assistant news editor of CRN.

N-able’s CEO Gavin Garbutt is also set to unveil two new freemium initiatives that will help N-able MSP partners eliminate the technology barriers that keep SMBs from adopting managed services. Garbutt will also share the stage with N-able’s Senior Vice President of Sales Mike Cullen to announce the company’s new MSP “Super Elite” Partner Group and present the annual Global N-able MSP Partner of the Year Awards.

New Report Manager Module for N-central Combines RMM and PSA Data
With the addition of PSA Insight, a new Report Manager 4.0 module, N-able brings to market a RMM reporting solution that combines RMM and PSA data. The new reporting software now captures key metrics on all tickets, giving MSPs a holistic view of each SMB’s network and fingertip access to critical profile information for faster analysis.

Integrated with Autotask and ConnectWise, two of the IT industry’s leaders in time and expense tracking solutions, Report Manager 4.0 also introduces a new Network Assessment Report designed to help MSPs attract prospects and secure major projects by using N-able’s Essential licenses.

New Freemium Initiatives Focus on Maximizing Partner Growth and Scale
At the foundation of N-able’s ongoing freemium campaign are its Essential licenses and 100 percent IT coverage sales and marketing program, which enable partners to capture any outstanding elements of their customers’ environments, as well as take a first step into new SMB environments. The new incentives set to be announced at the summit will extend the Essential freemiums to new partners and also allow any partner purchasing N-central to get up to 5,000 Essential licenses for free for the duration of their relationship with N-able.
