Intermedia Inc., a global cloud platform provider for SMBs and a Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, has released its hosted Exchange 2013, Lync 2013, and SharePoint 2013 solutions.
Exchange 2013, Lync 2013, and SharePoint 2013 are the newest versions of Microsoft’s business communication and collaboration platforms. The updates available in Exchange 2013 include improvements to the end-user experience, particularly for mobile employees who access Exchange using a Web browser via Outlook Web App (OWA). SharePoint 2013 comes with enhancements to the administration and user experience, plus new options for corporate users to collaborate using social media features. Lync 2013 adds new features such as shared notes and mobility, while also introducing a streamlined look to help users quickly and easily communicate.
Intermedia offers a number of cloud services, including hosted Exchange, via its Office in the Cloud suite of services. Office in the Cloud combines popular Microsoft services such as Exchange, Lync, and SharePoint with Intermedia’s services for backup, mobility, security, voice, and more.
Intermedia’s Exchange 2013, Lync 2013, SharePoint 2013 services are delivered from the company’s proprietary cloud infrastructure, which Intermedia says assures high reliability, backup, and security. It also includes account management through the company’s HostPilot Control Panel that integrates all Intermedia services and solutions in one control panel, access to 24/7 support and service, SpamStopper/VirusStopper, backup, and support for all mobile devices.
