Power protection and connectivity innovator Tripp Lite has added a new product to its SmartRack Series of wall-mount rack enclosure cabinets. The SRWF5U Low-Profile Wall-Mount Rack has a unique vertical orientation that enables it to lie flat against a wall, providing system builders and other channel pros with an ideal solution for cramped VoIP/telecom closets, classrooms, and other small IT environments.
The SRWF5U 5U Low-Profile Wall Mount Rack Enclosure Cabinet is designed to integrate wall-mounting, equipment access, and cable management in IT network applications with limited floor space. Ventilated front door and bottom panels enable generous airflow. Adjustable horizontal rack rails securely mount 5U of 19-inch rackmount equipment with M6 (or they can be reversed for securing with 12-24 threaded mounting holes). The rack enclosure supports up to 150 pounds of equipment.
The SRWF5U also meets enclosure requirements relating to PCI (payment card industry) data security compliance by physically securing equipment that stores sensitive data.
