N-able Technologies, a remote monitoring and management software provider, has released the next generation of its managed services technology automation platform. N-central 8.2 is available immediately as on-premise or hosted and offers fully integrated RMM features and toolsets.
N-central 8.2 features asset and warranty discovery and reporting, task automation, endpoint security, and self-healing. With the new DirectConnect remote control and management module, plus a centralized backup and recovery solution from CA Technologies, the RMM automation platform is easy to deploy and use.
DirectConnect leverages a global network of relay servers to ensure performance and reliability, allowing technicians to remotely monitor customer devices more easily. This module allows instant access to asset and warranty information, plus full reporting capabilities. DirectConnect is available as a free upgrade to existing N-able partners.
N-central 8.2 enables MSPs to deliver business continuity services and off-site replication and cloud-based file and folder backup and recovery, thanks to the CA ARCserve D2D r16 from CA Technologies. Other enhancements with the new version include endpoint security support for Microsoft Exchange 2010 plus improved agent upgrade options.
N-able’s N-central 8.2 platform includes Essential, Professional and N-support Pro licenses, along with seven complementary toolsets to reduce IT support costs, improve network performance and increase productivity.
