Power protection and connectivity innovator Tripp Lite has introduced a new energy-saving surge suppressor model. The new product, TLP76MSG ECO-SURGE Suppressor, reduces energy waste caused by phantom loads—electricity wasted by idle devices (even those that are turned off).
Tripp Lite’s TLP76MSG reduces energy waste (phantom loads) by cutting AC power to unused peripherals. The unit offers one “always-on” outlet for those peripherals that must remain on (like a fax machine or router). It also offers individual outlet switches that enable users to set which devices are to be left on or off.
The TLP76MSG has 7 total outlets, a six-foot cord, and diagnostic LEDs to warn of wiring problems or suppressor damage. Network-grade AC suppression rated at 1080 joules shields equipment from surges and line noise.
Designed with a gray suppressor housing, the TLP76MSG can accommodate up to 4 transformer plug outlets offering convenient protection of desktop computer equipment and accessories.
The product comes with a lifetime warranty that includes $25,000 connected equipment insurance.
