CompTIA, a non-profit trade association for the IT industry, is organizing a “fly-in” for members of the IT channel community to discuss major issues with key government officials. Taking place in Washington, D.C. from November 1-3, the advocacy forum is designed to encourage the discussion of a wide range of issues, including health IT, data privacy, regulatory matters, and government contracting.
CompTIA is also offering a $500 stipend for 20 CompTIA members and 20 TechVoice partners to attend on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, visit CompTIA Public Advocacy.
