Ingram Micro Hosts Fourth Annual SMB Alliance

The distributor’s invitational event in Las Vegas draws 155 partners. The company also releases more information about its Service Advisory Council.

More than 155 channel partners from the U.S. and Canada were welcomed by Ingram Micro Inc. this week to the distributor’s fourth annual SMB Alliance (SMBA) Partner Invitational at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas,

The three-day trade event was themed “Join the Movement!” The event agenda aimed to provide partners with “valuable market insight about what’s driving demand among SMBs and how to capitalize on these trends by leveraging the community, Ingram Micro, and sponsoring IT vendors,” the distributor explains in a statement submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.

“The SMBA Invitational presents our community members with a great opportunity to learn more about the SMB marketplace, discuss and resolve mutual challenges, and identify best practices for growing their solutions and services portfolios while expanding their role as a trusted advisor,” says Huy Nguyen, event host and director of channel programs for Ingram Micro North America.

Vendor sponsors included Lenovo, Cisco, ASUS, Brother, IBM, Symantec, Microsoft, HP and McAfee, each of which has representation on hand to discuss the latest technology solutions, programs, and partner enablement offerings.†
