Tripp Lite’s SmartRack Line Adds More Compact Model
The economical SRW6U is the latest wall-mount rack enclosure cabinet in the line. It accommodates up to 6U of standard 19-inch rackmount equipment.
Tripp Lite has added a new 6U model to its line of SmartRack wall-mount rack enclosure cabinets. The new compact SRW6U is designed as a solution for cramped network and wiring closets, remote network sites, branch offices, and other tight spots.
“When wall-mounted,” states the manufacturer in a press release to EH Publishing, “it frees up valuable floor space.”
The new SmartRack from Tripp Lite also available with an additional caster kit for use as a mobile floor unit.
According to Tripp Lite’s product manager Craig Watkins, the entire SmartRack line of wall-mount enclosures was designed to “meet the need for a secure rack solution in space-critical and non-traditional applications.”
The new model, he says, adds to the flexibility of the line by providing a compact and economical form.
Features of the new SRW6U SmartRack include:
- Ability to accommodate up to 6U of standard 19-inch rackmount equipment (with adjustable mounting depths up to 17 inches)
- Locking, reversible front door
- Locking, removable side panels
- Ventilated door and side panels
- Top and bottom panel cable access openings
- Fully assembled form
