Tripp Lite Adds Two More to its B020 Series of KVM Switches
NetDirector Console KVM Switches sport 19-inch monitors and ship with combo KVM cable kits.
Tripp Lite has added two new models to its popular line of rackmount console KVM switches: the B020-U16-19-K and B020-U08-19-K.
The new KVM switches from Tripp Lite provide flexible solutions for controlling multiple computers from a single console. They combine a large 19-inch LCD monitor, keyboard, mouse, and 8- or 16-port KVM switch in a compact, slide-out 1U rackmountable housing.
These new Rackmount Console KVM Switches come with eight P778 series USB/PS2 combo KVM cable kits that permit connection to either PS/2 or USB servers, with no need for special adapters or additional cables.
Key feature of the B020 line include:
- Support of Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7, as well as Linux, Mac and Sun
- Server selection capabilities via push-buttons, hotkeys, or on-screen display (OSD)
- OSD menus in English, Spanish, French, German, or Japanese
- LCD monitor that supports resolutions up to 1280 x 1024
- Additional USB port that enables such peripherals as flash drives to be shared by all connected servers
- External console port that enables connection of an external local console or IP device
- Control up to 512 servers by cascading additional B022-Series KVM switches
For business that depend on networks, says Tripp Lite cables and connectivity product manager David Posner, the B020 series provides reliability at a value-price. “Moreover, our B020 series KVM switches provide that solution in just 1U of rack space,” he says, “with included cable kits to simplify cable management, plus optional IP capability.”
