Malwarebytes announced the appointment of Barry Mainz as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead the Malwarebytes’ B2B sales team. Mainz brings more than 25 years of experience in global sales, marketing, and product development and has been in senior leadership roles including CEO, COO, and SVP of Sales throughout his career.

Before joining Malwarebytes, Mainz served as CEO of MobileIron, where he was instrumental in driving the growth and profitability of the company, while overseeing sales and business strategies. Prior to joining MobileIron, Mainz served as president of Wind River, where he was responsible for the management of Wind River’s business and setting the company’s strategy. Prior to joining Wind River, Mainz spent more than 15 years in sales leadership roles at a number of technology companies including Mercury Interactive, Sun Microsystems, and Seagate Technology. Mainz holds a B.A. in Communications Studies from San Francisco State University.
