Lastline, the leader in AI-powered network security, is continuing to build a world-class organization with a key appointment to its leadership team. The company has announced that it has named†Gregory Enriquez†as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), responsible for global direct, channel, and OEM sales.†Greg is a consummate technology professional who most notably was the Worldwide Vice President of Sales at Mandiant prior to their acquisition by FireEye. In this role, Greg grew the Mandiant sales force from four people to more than fifty while producing rapid product revenue growth that led to the acquisition. Following the Mandiant acquisition, he led the global FireEye advanced technology sales team, nearly doubling the size of that organization.
After his tenure at FireEye, Greg held two successful CEO positions in technology startups: TrapX Security and Gigster.†These roles developed insights into the cross-functional dynamics that are required for young companies to achieve success. Earlier in his career, Greg spent 22 years at IBM†including a very successful role as IBM’s Worldwide Vice President of industry software sales.†
“Greg’s successes in driving enterprise security sales growth together with his diverse general management pedigree make him uniquely qualified to lead Lastline’s customer-facing efforts,” noted Lastline CEO,†John DiLullo. “Our AI-powered network security solutions are experiencing truly explosive growth and Greg is the perfect leader to spearhead our aggressive expansion plans in this market.”
“Lastline is on the cusp of tremendous growth in the network security market,” said†Greg Enriquez, Lastline CRO. “The company’s AI-powered technology is not only innovative but has been rated as more effective at defeating advanced threats than anything else on the market. I’m looking forward to helping companies implement security that’s up to the challenges they face today and continuing the incredible momentum the team has created.”
The company also announced that†Brian Laing, who has been managing sales on an interim basis, has accepted the new role of leading the company’s critically important Corporate Development and Strategic Alliances efforts. Throughout his five years at Lastline, Brian has actively and effectively contributed to the company’s success, especially in his management of the OEM and Business Development activities that are central to the company’s success to date.†
Mr. DiLullo continued, “It is my sincere belief that the combination of Greg and Brian working together represents an unstoppable force and one that will certainly resonate with customers and strike fear in the hearts of our competitors.”
